My Note: This is a nice bass.

Seems like a good buy, anyone know how the Schaller 3D4 3way adjustable Nickel Bridge works, as in string spacing, trying to figure out if the saddle pieces are on a thread and move from side to side. I 've got a standard bridge on my Fender Jazz at the moment but the string spacing seems quite limited the Schaller looks like it could offer more in the way of movement.

By the way my Jazz is the new model 2004 with the new type bridge.

There's a G&L 2500

Starting bid: US $650.00 Place Bid > Reserve not met

price: US $980.00 Buy It Now >

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

End time: Jun-14-07 16:20:18 PDT (1 day 4 hours)
Shipping costs: US $50.00

http://cgi.ebay.com/G-L-L2500-Bass-Guit ... dZViewItem
G&L L2500 Fretless Bass, 5 String

** Cherry Burst gloss finish **

** Ebony fretless fingerboard with ghost lines **

** Maple wood neck **

** Chrome hardware **

** 2 G&L magnetic field humbucking pick ups **

** Saddle lock bridge with string through body configuration **

** G&L tri-tone active/passive controls (3 way toggle pick up selector / 3 way toggle for preamp (on, off, boost) / Series parallel toggle) **

** Neck Width at Nut: 1 3/4" **

This bass is NOT a Tribute model which is a lesser quality. If you like Fender, you will love this G&L.

I will throw in an authentic G&L soft case with shoulder straps which is also in excellent condition. This is a serious sounding bass. I have only used it in my studio once and kept it as a collector piece only. This bass shows as brand (no damage or blemishes) new which is the resaon it is listed as such. I have to sell to pay other debts.

So nice, so Good but no strings enough for me  :D
:D :D

Looks like a nice Fender Franken Jazz.

Custom Fretless Bass, Bartolini, Fender Noiseless P/Us

End time: Jun-22-07 10:02:21 PDT
RESERVE NOT MET - high Bid $376.99
RESERVE NOT MET (2nd time) - high bid $306.00
this looks to be an indicator of a softening economy,
a nice bass like this should bring $400 - $450, perhaps more on a good day.

RELISTED
End time: Jul-16-07 22:32:33 PDT
This is a custom-built fretless J bass from USA Custom Guitars. It's not new, but it's been well taken care of. It has a very nice weight alder body--- not too heavy, not too light, oil finished, very resonant. Back of body has contoured neck heel for easier upper register access. The neck is very clean maple (also oil finished), amazing beautiful and fast cocobolo fingerboard-- pics do not do it justice. I've had it set up with both flatwound and roundwound strings, but there's very little fingerboard wear, due in part to the hardness of cocobolo. Pickups are Fender Noiseless and they're being pumped through Bartolini NTBT--918 system. This bass is set up nice and growly. Very wide tonal range, loud and sexy! This will become someone's favorite bass.

There are screw holes where inferior tuners had been installed-- it now has Schaller BML tuners. I've tried to show that in pics. Bridge is Gotoh 201, nut is made of bone (not plastic!). No case, but I'll ship it in a Fender shipping box, really nice and snug. Shipping to continental USA only. I'll pay shipping with buy it now, otherwise it'll be $25. Thanks for looking and good luck.
