FretlessBass.com 2008 Calendar Contest!

FretlessBass.com will be releasing it's second wall calendar and we want to include your photos! Inspired by our user submitted gallery of fretless basses and the success of our 2007 calendar, this calendar will truly be another unique addition to the bass guitar world and something you can be proud to hang on your wall! We would like to include pictures of our users basses so please enter your best photo by December 7, 2007 for consideration. If you would like to submit a photo please read the terms below and email us the highest possible resolution JPEG file of a fretless bass (in which you own the copyright to the photo). Single photos and creative collage photos will both be considered.

Depending on the response, we will pick up to 10 winning images to be featured as the main large picture for 10 of the 12 months in the calendar. The additional images will be provided by FretlessBass.com. And, if we feel that there are more than 10 impressive images entered we may also be featuring smaller "runner-up" photos on the calendar as well.

All pictures will have the name of the copyright owner/photographer listed on the calendar.

We would like to suggest some helpful hints for submissions:
1. Please send the highest resolution JPEG image file possible. Typically a 1024 pixel x 768 pixel image file at 72 DPI will not be suitable for printing. Please try to send an original file taken at the highest resolution by a digital camera. Ultimately a picture size of 12 inches x 9 inches at 200 DPI will be suitable for the large picture consideration, but, the bigger the better. Smaller resolution pictures will be considered for the runner-up slots. If it is a scan please scan at the highest resolution your software will allow.

2. Please limit pictures for consideration to the fretless bass only. People included in the pictures will not be considered.

By submitting an image to the FretlessBass.com 2008 Wall Calendar Contest you agree to the following terms:
1. You are the sole copyright owner of the image submitted for inclusion in the calendar and give FretlessBass.com the right to use the image in the calendar. 2. You agree to let FretlessBass.com sell the calendar from its website to earn a profit that will help subsidize the maintenance of the site. 3. You waive the right to receive money or any other form of payment for the inclusion of your picture in our calendar or the sale of those calendars. 4. FretlessBass.com reserves the right to include or exclude your picture for any reason whatsoever. Winners chosen for inclusion will be notified in advance of calendar publication. Decisions made by FretlessBass.com are final. 5. If a picture is included in the calendar, FretlessBass.com reserves the right to size, crop, or alter the image in anyway deemed necessary.
