6 string bass. what strings r good?

Any help would be appreciated. Is it best to use flats?

If you want more Mwwwaaa sound you should buy halfwound or roundwound strings.

I don't have my fretless bass yet, but soon I'll test it

The first thing to do is use the Search function.

There are several posts regarding strings for fretless bass.

Whether 4, 5, 6, or 7 strings, the characteristics of a particular type are similar.
