Hi my name is Nathan and Im from Melbourne Australia.
I am ready/can afford to buy my first fretless yeahhhhh!!!
I already have a USA Jazz 5 deluxe 2009 + a crappy knock off jazz 4.
I have access to a road worn Jaco fretless (2008 I think) which is 4k but not willing to spend that much.
Hi im considering a Fender Precision Bass 1976
This is his evil bay write up. (Bass is very close to where I live in AUST)
It has white Dimarzio pickup upgrades that have aged nicely, This bass has a chip on the picguard at the truss rod, i have a new pickguard in white that i was going to put on it but never got around to it, if you want.
Someone has played with this bass and there is some shaving of the neck leaving a small gap.
(the current owner said he has only had it for a year)
price he will min take is $1300
Does the bass on viewing look original bar the pickups?
I have a bit of an issue with the gap, would a good luthier be able to clean it up for me?
Is this price good for a molestered vintage p?
thanks in advance nathan
