Hi there!
So, Im new to this forum!
My name is Yordi and I've been playing bass for about 7 years now.
I've played some fretless basses in stores and of some friends but I've never owned one myself.
But today Im having my Schecter Stiletto Studio-6 defretted!
I fell in love with fretless bass because of Jeroen Thesseling's work in the German Death Metal band Obscura and I knew right away I wanted to learn to play fretless.

I'll post some pictures when my bass is defretted if you're interested!

Welcome to fretless bass and to the forums!

I'm a huge fan of Jeroen as well from back in his Pestilence days. Not to brag or anything, but I got to meet him and hang back stage with him when they toured for Cosmogenesis :P

Such a great guy and very humble and just an amazing player.

Good luck with your defretting! I played a Schecter Stilleto Studio 5 fretless for years before acquiring a 6-string fretless a couple years ago. Decent basses for the price!

Stick around and let us know how the bass sounds.

Hey! Thanks!
I've also met him at the Cosmogenesis tour! He was very nice indeed.

I got my bass back about a week ago and its just PERFECT! Its even better than I expected! It has a great mwoahhh and because it has fretlines, it doesnt take much getting used to!
