I'm a long time fretted bassist looking at taking the flatwound path down to the depths of fretlessvillejavascript:emoticon(':twisted:'), on a budget.
I was wondering if readers had advice on brands that are cheap and suitable for experienced bassists (a tough body, I like it rough).
I was looking at Harley Benton for price, but I'm unsure of the quality (toughness), can you guys help me out.
