Hi all! I've been scratching my head on this one...maybe someone here can help. I have a gig coming up fairly soon - it will be a guitar, piano and me on a fretless bass. I play a Rick Turner Custom Shop EL34 4-string bass that is 35" scale, semi-lined.
I am looking for a song where the main melody is played on a fretless with lots of MWAH, that would work with this setup (guitar and piano, no drums). I am looking for something very melodic and that I can get ready in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions?

Or "Teen Town" from the same album.

Fabolous Baker Boys OST: Dave Grusin - Jacks Theme (with Brian Bromberg on Bass)
or Ray Brown Trio - Cry me a river
Both songs do have very little snare (can be ignored) and chord parts of pianoscore can be easily played by guitar.
It all depends on the keyboarders right hand abilities and what sort of audience you have.
If it has to be Jaco: Dreamland is a good choice, too. (especially for frettless bass)
