Newcomer here! But not new to fretless :)

Hi all, I just stumbled across this site. I can't believe it didn't find it awhile back. Just thought I would introduce myself a bit. And show off my newly de-fretted Warwick Thumb BO BN 6er :) (wenge (fret)board) I finished de-fretting it a couple of days ago, I finished the board with epoxy and used a wenge dust/epoxy mix to fill in the fret slots. Theyre visible while playing the bass, but from a few feet away good luck seeing them.

I'm very surprised at the outcome of it, I can still do all of my old "tricks", I can still slap and tap on it and everything sounds really nice and clear... With the added bonus of now having a fretless :)

Enough talk... Here are the pics :)

I also have a sound clip I put up of it after I finished the epoxy and strung it up. It's really surprising how bright it still sounds. You can check it out @ www.myspace.com/caseytinsley
