Fender Jazz fretless – pro usage in pop/rock ?

The Fender Jazz fretless is one of the most popular fretless basses around but outside of the jazz-fusion arena you don’t seem to see many. Can you name many professional pop/rock bassist use them ?

All I know is that Pino Palladino, who was one of the most influential fretless bassists is now using a fretted P bass

This sad developement occurred, not because he doesn't prefer fretless, rather that he wants to continue working.

A sad commentary on how others besides ourselves appreciate the fretless bass sound.
One good note makes my day.
