Been listening to the original Talk Talk version and I believe the bassline was done with a fretless. What think you?

There are some great fretless bass lines on many Talk Talk songs but I always thought It's My Life was played on a MM Stingray.

I've not seen any good footage of the song being done live, and I've not been privy to any interviews of the bassist, so it's just a guess based on how it sounds on the studio track.
