Defretted neck and inlayed lines with black walnut strips. Sanded factory sealer off of body and finished in tung oil. Made custom pickguard with wood paneling laminated with quilted maple veneer. Sounds great. Only problem with kit was cheap tuners – replaced with gotohs.
