A new use of an old technology, optical pickups were known in the early 1920s. I first applied it to stringed instruments in 1968 and shown them at the 1969 NAMM Chicago show. I shared a booth with Sun amplifiers at the time. Later in 1971 I had my own booth at the Chicago NAMM. Even more later, I showed them at the the 1975 Summer NAMM. And last shown at the 2001 Summer NAMM.
I have yet to produce them for resale. I guess, I must not be doing something right?
Thank you for your interest,
