It’s got sort of a precision/jazz mix body, the design of which i got off of a musical intrument maker’s forum on the net, and then changed for my own uses. It is a six string, strung BEADGC low to high. The mahogany is actually old doorjambs, and there are actually holes where there were nails. the wings are poplar. I enjoy the sound, a bit treble, but a decent low end. neck is wide for a lot of people, but i have big hands, so i’m fine. body overall’s a little heavy, but it’s a big bass, so I expect that.
